The Full Registration Fee and the Full-time Student Registration Fee include entry to all technical sessions, the exhibit hall, all meal functions and a copy of the Proceedings.
The Retiree Registration Fee includes entry to the technical sessions and the exhibit area only. It does not include a copy of the Proceedings or entry to any meal functions.
The One Day Registration includes lunch on the day for which the registration is valid. It does not include a copy of the Proceedings or entry to any other meal functions.
All attendees, including presenters, must register and receive a badge. The badge must be worn for admission to all sessions and functions. Visitor badges for the exhibits only can be obtained from the registration desk. Exhibits are open to everyone.

Hotel and Transportation
PTTI 2011 will take place at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach. The hotel is only steps from major attractions, shops, restaurants and entertainment, providing easy access to the Aquarium, Shoreline Village, and Queen Mary.
The PTTI 2011 room rate is $125 (single occupancy), $150 (double), $175 (triple) and $200 (quad). The cut-off date for the room block is October 24. For reservations, call 562-491-1234.
Rental Car
Avis is the official rental car agency for PTTI 2011. The Avis Worldwide Discount (AWD) Number is J628452. Please use this AWD number when calling Avis directly at 800-331-1600 to receive the best car rental rates available. The discount includes unlimited mileage and is available from seven days before to seven days after the meeting. To make your reservation online, visit the Avis website.
Airport Shuttle
Los Angeles Airport: Super Shuttle runs 24 hours a day. Reservations are not needed or taken. Vans are located outside on the lower level of the baggage claim area. Cross over to the center island and look for the orange sign. Shuttles pick up approximately every 10 minutes. A Super Shuttle attendant will be available to assist passengers. Cost is $17 per person.
Long Beach Airport: Super Shuttle is available with advance reservations only. Please call 310-782-6600 or 800-BLUE-VAN for information and rates.
Orange County Airport (John Wayne Airport): Super Shuttle is available at the transportation center across the street. Look for the third Island marked Van Shuttle Service. Reservations are suggested, but not required. The cost is $34 each way for one person and $9 each way for each additional person. Please call 714-517-6600 or 800-862-7771 for reservations.

Valet Parking: 0-30 minutes complimentary; 0-4 hours = $13; 4-max (24hours) = $21; Overnight hotel guests = $20

Tutorials
The PTTI 2011 Tutorials Session will take place on Monday, November 14. The Tutorials are intended for engineers, mathematicians, scientists or anyone who is new to the field of PTTI, as well as those who have been a part of the PTTI community. For information regarding the Tutorials, please contact Greg Weaver. Additional information on the presentations and speakers is also available on the Tutorials webpage.
The registration fee for the PTTI 2011 Tutorials Session is $300. To qualify for the early discounted registration fee of $250, your payment must be received or postmarked on or before October 14. The fee includes breakfast, lunch and a copy of the Tutorials presentations (notebook and CD).

Evening Activities
On Monday, November 14 at 1700, the “Get Acquainted” Icebreaker function will be held
in the Exhibits Hall. Refreshments will be served.
The Welcoming reception will be held Tuesday, November 15 at 1830.
On Wednesday, November 16 at 1900, PTTI 2011 is pleased to have Dr. Albert Yu-Min Lin, Research Scientist at the University of California, San Diego and an Emerging Explorer of the National Geographic Society in the field of technology enabled exploration. Dr. Lin will present "The Valley of the Khans Project," an international collaboration with the goal of performing a high-tech, non-invasive remote sensing investigation for the tomb of Genghis Khan. Refreshments will be served.
